If you’re looking for a unique learning experience that will have your students beaming, this is it. Laser Quest has worked with professional educators to design two educational excursions that are unique, informative and interactive to promote students’ comprehension and retention.

Created with the Guidance of Professional Educators

To ensure these seminars will serve as a strong enhancement to your school’s curriculum, we have worked with a panel of educators from Canada and the United States to determine a number of learning outcomes and prepare learning experiences. With their expertise, we were able to create a program that was both entertaining and highly educational.

The “Lasers & Mazes” Seminar

Designed for students in Grades 4-8, this program provides a wonderful introduction to the fascinating world of laser beams and mazes. To assist teachers in getting the most out of the program for their students, pre- and post- visit lesson plans are provided that relate the topics of lasers and mazes to history, mathematics, science and language arts.

The session is capped off with a specially-created video that presents the history, applications and types of lasers and mazes with intrigue and wit.

The Light & Optics Program

Designed for students in grades 6 to 11, the Lights & Optics Program will include the fascinating world of laser beams as well as light reflection, light refraction, the visible spectrum. Pre and post visit teachers notes for this unit will include details of what will be covered so teachers can tailor their visit with the curriculum and use the exercises after your experience to help reinforce the learning.

Dedicated to community and educational outreach, The Shakespeare All-Stars use Shakespeare’s theatre to inspire, educate, and entertain audiences of all ages through live performances and workshops.

Seeing, studying, and performing the works of Shakespeare offers a rare opportunity to develop literary and public speaking skills, explore history and the human condition, and understand how the arts influence and reflect our daily lives.

In addition to fulfilling the Illinois Board of Education Goals for English Language Arts and Fine Arts, our programs strive to:

· Make literature accessible and fun!
