Who We Are
Who We Are

Randi with two of her seven children, Rachel and Elizabeth
For the past seventeen years, Randi St. Denis, director of Home Educators Encouragement Alliance (HEEA), has produced the Southeast Homeschool Expo and now, the Chicago Homeschool Expo.
Over the past six years, the need to reach out to homeschoolers in Illinois has been on Randi’s heart. With over 17 million people in the Chicago and surrounding metro area, along with tremendous homeschooling freedom, this area has been a great place to homeschool.
Randi has always said that an affordable, convenient, and OPEN homeschool expo encourages more homeschoolers to attend, find support, and learn more about homeschooling. HEEA’s goals have always been to help homeschool parents find educational and parenting solutions to their unique situation.
Recently, attendees were able to attend HEEA’s one-day seminars; Beginning Homeschooling, Early Learners, and Homeschooling the High Schooler. The attendees agreed with Randi and say that having an expo like this has been needed for a long, long time.
Currently, HEEA produces the largest homeschooling expo in the US with attendance just under 7,000.
The Chicago Homeschool Expo is BOTH family friendly and affordable. Families are encouraged to attend the activities provided for parents and children alike. We love to have local homeschool parents present interesting workshops. Please contact us if you are a homeschooling parent or educator interested in presenting a workshop.
